Midweek Meetings

 

 

Weekly prayer meetings

 

From 7-8pm on Tuesday evenings we meet in the Church lounge to pray for ourselves, for our Parish and for the spread of the gospel in places all around the world. We believe God hears and answers our prayers and are convinced that everything our Church seeks to do in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ depends on our faithful prayer life together. Prayer is led by different people on a rota basis. At Mains we are trying to develop a wider international awareness and seek to uphold the work of Christ in other countries before the throne of grace. In prayer we also seek to praise God and to confess our sins.

 

House Groups

 

There is a house group currently meeting, on a Thursday (fortnightly) evening in Jess and Harry Morison’s House. This gives us a chance to meet together to share and discuss the Bible in a small group and many find this a real help to their spiritual life.

 

Other Groups in the Church

 

The Church building itself is used throughout the week by many outside groups, these include Alcoholics Anonymous, Spectrum and the Mothers and Toddlers group and Hot Pink Dance Group for more information on these groups see the timetable and contact information below.
